Mr. Aiken is an accomplished trial attorney who has taken over 50 cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. He has also handled over 20 appeals in front of the South Carolina Supreme Court (video) and Court of Appeals as well as the federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. In his almost 22 years of practicing law, his most impressive accomplishment thus far is his admission into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This prestigious organization is limited to the top trial lawyers in the country who have attained a verdict/settlement in excess of $1 million dollars. Less than 1% of all lawyers in America are members of this group.
As part of his trial practice, Mr. Aiken handles complex litigation cases, including automobile and large truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, products liability cases, premises liability, nursing home neglect and abuse, closed head and brain injury accidents as well as workers compensation and legal malpractice cases. In addition to personal injury, he also practices criminal law defending serious charges from drug possession / trafficking to attempted murder / murder. Mr. Aiken is also one of the very few attorneys who is licensed to represent defendants charged with federal crimes, including government fraud and drug charges. He is also well versed in state and federal gun laws and violations.

Mr. Aiken and his wife Bea (also a partner in the firm) live with their two children in Columbia, South Carolina.
