Mr. Spink is originally from Apex, North Carolina, located outside of Raleigh, where he grew up and attended high school. He then graduated from North Carolina State with a major in Political Science. Mr. Spink interned for two political campaigns while in college, for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. In addition, he was active in the university serving as community service director of his fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha.
Following College, Mr. Spink was a member of the inaugural class at the Charlotte School of Law. While in law school he was the Student Bar Association Treasurer, and served two terms in the Charlotte Law Review as Symposium Editor and Senior Editor. The Charlotte Law Review is reserved for the top 15% of the entire class. Most importantly, Mr. Spink worked as an intern at the District Attorney’s office where he gained valuable insight in criminal law and procedure. Also while in law school, he met his girlfriend Karen, who is a practicing attorney in Charlotte as well.
Since graduating, he has taken that valuable experience and focused his practice on criminal defense cases. Mr. Spink handles ALL TRAFFIC OFFENSES, including speeding, driving without a license (DWLR), driving with licensed revoked, missed Court date, failure to appear, and DMV hearings to help people get their license back. He also defends individuals charged with property crimes, assaults, criminal domestic violence, and ALL DRUG CHARGES, including illegal drug possession and prescription fraud. Mr. Spink especially likes to defend Driving While Impaired (DWI) cases. He is an aggressive trial litigator who will go to Court to fight for you. We don’t just settle our cases. You don’t need a lawyer for that. Instead, we demand all evidence from the State and then carefully review your options with you. You decide whether to accept a plea offer or take your case to a jury. Call Greg today and let him guide you through this very complicated and stressful ordeal. He will be beside you every step of the way.
