Charlotte Transportation Crisis Continues

Now that elections are over, North Carolina is turning its focus to solving the ongoing transportation crisis and addressing the toll it is taking on the economy.

North Carolina has been working for more, better and faster networks to move people throughout the city and surrounding areas.

The clogged roadways are causing crashes and choking off business opportunities, and the inadequate infrastructure is hitting drivers in operating and repair costs.

According to experts and advocates, there is no more time to waste; however, finding the political will and the taxpayer money will present challenges.

Construction and traffic congestion can be a frustrating occurrence during the everyday travels of American road users.  However, it’s important for drivers to keep in mind that the driving environment in these circumstances requires extra vigilance to prevent accidents.  If you find yourself in a construction zone or particularly congested traffic area, remain patient and pay attention to what is happening around you.  If, despite your caution, you are involved in a serious accident, call the Accident Attorneys of Reeves, Aiken, and Hightower at 704-499-9000 or 877-374-5999 toll-free.

Highway Patrol Asking Drivers For a Safe New Year’s

With the New Year’s Holiday approaching, North Carolina Highway Patrol is urging motorists to bring in the new year safely by refraining from driving while impaired, remembering to wear seat belts and staying focused while on the road.
