Two people, a man and a woman, were arrested in Lancaster County after allegedly robbing a Kershaw bank last Thursday. The incident took place at the Williams Financial on East Richland Street around 1:00 p.m., according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s office. The two were charged with armed robbery. The man was also charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Deputies reported that the man walked into the bank, displayed his handgun and demanded money. The woman was reported to have been waiting outside in the car. The man left the bank, after tellers handed him some money, and the couple drove off. The two were taken to the Lancaster County Detention Center.
