A Great Falls resident was killed last Saturday by a hit-and-run driver, sometime between 3:00 and 6:30 a.m. Sadly, the victim left nine children and his girlfriend of 16 years behind. The accident occurred less than one-quarter of a mile from the victim’s home on Richburg Road in Chester County.

The exact time the victim was hit is still unknown, however the body was discovered by a passing motorist on his way to work around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The victim was reported to be “unresponsive and not breathing,” when the police arrived.
 
The County Coroner has listed the cause of death as “blunt force of trauma with a head injury.” The autopsy was performed at Piedmont Medical Center, in Rock Hill, SC. 
 
Currently, there have been no witnesses who have come forward to speak of this horrific fatality.
