Commuters on Interstate 77 faced major delays on Thursday morning after a multi-vehicle crash caused a tractor-trailer to catch on fire, briefly blocking all lanes of traffic.
According to reports, the truck fire blocked all lanes of traffic until emergency crew could arrive on the scene and put out the flames.
The fire occurred near Nations Ford Road during the morning rush hour. Traffic was backed up all the way to Carowinds Boulevard, primarily due to onlookers.
Luckily, there were no injuries reported.
