It’s not a well known fact, but drivers are at a serious disadvantage if involved in a crash with a larger vehicle, such as a large truck or bus. Car occupants, usually the driver, suffer 78 percent of fatalities in crashes involving large trucks or busses. So it’s important that drivers exercise extra caution around these large vehicles.
