Studies conducted by the National Highway and Safety Administration reveal that in the year 2010, a pedestrian was killed every 2 hours and injured every eight minutes in traffic collisions in the United States. All road users, pedestrians and motorists alike, are equally responsible for sharing the road. That’s why it’s important that drivers stay alert for all other road users and pedestrians should stay visible for drivers.
