An investigation continues after a fatal motorcycle crash occurred Sunday night in Concord.
According to police, a 41-year-old Harrisburg man was traveling southwest on Roberta Road in Concord when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Investigators found that speed was a contributing factor in the crash. However, no other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash.
Speeding costs lives and as the speed of a motor vehicle increases, the chances of being in a potentially fatal crash increase exponentially. This fact is especially dangerous for motorcyclists who are especially vulnerable to injury or death on the road. So it’s important that motorists stay aware of motorcycles and bikers stay visible to other drivers.
