A Charlotte woman was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after a violent collision involving two cars.

According to reports, a beige Ford Escort and a black Jeep were traveling on East Maiden Road, about half-mile east of Shoals Road, when the vehicles collided.

Emergency crews had to extricate a woman from the Ford Escort.  She was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center.  Other victims were transported to Catawba Medical Center.

Motor vehicle crashes are an unfortunate yet inevitable part of road use since motor vehicle travel is the most popular means of transportation in the U.S.  That’s why it’s important for all road users to remember their ongoing responsibility to share the road.  If you are involved in an accident, you need an attorney on your side to get on a successful path for recovery.  Call the  Accident Attorneys of Reeves, Aiken, and Hightower at 704-499-9000 or 877-374-5999 toll-free.
