A man from Rock Hill, SC found himself hospitalized after he engaged in an altercation with an arresting officer.
According to the reports, the 48-year-old man fought the officer until he ultimately kicked the officer in the face, following an arguement with family members. Apparently the man’s 32-year-old nephew is the one who contacted the police around 11:30 a.m., shortly after the ruccus started.
The nephew stated that his uncle was asked to leave the family home due to his intense intoxication issues, coupled with his argumentative behavior. Thereafter, a fight broke out, forcing the nephew to call the police.
When the police arrived, the uncle was unable to remain balanced on his own two feet, smelled of alcohol, and was slurring his speech. The police also noted that the uncle had his suitcase packed, but was unable to pick it up without falling over.
The police attempted to call the uncle a taxi, but as he left the house, he began to scream and shout profanities at the officers and the taxi driver upon arrival. The cops then placed the uncle under arrest for disturbing the peace.
As the officers tried to place the uncle in his cop car, the uncle kicked until he eventually hit one of the officers in the face with his shoe.
Apparently, even after the uncle was pulled out of the patrol car due to his stunt, he continued to kick at the officers. During the course of the uncle struggling, the fell backwards, hitting his head on the pavement, and suffering a few minor injuries on his elbow.
The man was taken first to the hospital for an assessment, but was later discharged. He was subsequently taken to jail for his reckless behavior.
He was subsequently charged with third-degree assault and battery as well as a public disorderly conduct charge. He was in jail until Thursday, when he was released on a $1,260 bond.

Two Rock Hill residents are now facing criminal charges after a shooting took place Saturday night in Fort Mill.
According to reports, the shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. at an apartment complex near the Fort Mill Square Shopping Center, right at the corner of Highway 160 and Doby’s Bridge Road. The Fort Mill Police have reported that incident was triggered when the 23 year old Rock Hill resident went to the apartment complex to pick up his child. Shortly upon arrival, a man fired a handgun at the 23 year old multiple times while another resident was hiding in the apartment.
The victim states that a man was waiting in the doorway of the apartment for his arrival. When the victim got there, a 24 year old Rock Hill resident began to argue with the the man.
The man waiting then escalated the fight when he pulled the handgun out of his waistband. The 24 year ols subsequently chased the victim into the parking lot while waiving the handgun and yelling obscenities at the victim.
The victim says that he had to take cover in his sister’s apartment that was nearby, after the 24 year old shot at the victim numerous times. The shooter actually missed the victim, but instead his bullets hit a Ford Explorer two times in the parking lot.
Both the victim and the shooter fled the scene when they heard the sound of the police arriving, as they led the cops down a 9-mile chase down Cherry Road, towards Heckle Blvd.
According to reports, the Rock Hill police were forced to use stop sticks on the road, in order to disable the vehicle that the shooter was driving. Subsequnelty, the shooter actually jumped out of the vehicle while in transit, and began to run on foot from the police.
Reports drafted by the policeman state that the person hiding in the apartment then kicked in two doors and then began to physcially assualt the mother of his two children after the police were distracted by the chase. The police found the battered woman with blood in her nostrils and brusies around her eyes.
Moreover, the Fort Mill police found a .380 caliber Cobra gun along side Brickyard Road in the grass, where the intial chase began.
The charges issued to the shooter are as follows: attempted murder, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of felony, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The victim was charged with driving under suspension, failure to stop for blue lights( for “running from the patrol car”) and accessory after the fact to a felony.

A Rock Hill woman had her relationship turn sour the other night. The woman claims her boyfriend dumped bleach on her and then left the home, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
The woman claimed her boyfriend was upset after another man was looking at her at the club. Officers stated that the woman said he dumped bleach all over her clothes and hair at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Officers stated that the woman had noticeable bleach spots on her clothing and an empty bottle of bleach was recovered from the room where the alleged incident occurred.

A Tega Cay woman let a local grocery shopper know how she really felt. According to authorities, a woman was arrested after cursing at a man in front of his family and then making fun of the man’s male anatomy at a local Harris-Teeter.
According to officers, police responded to a call from the Harris-Teeter located on S.C. Highway 160 on Wednesday afternoon in regards to a woman who became volatile. The woman told officers the man owed her money and she also stated another person assaulted her with a grocery cart.
According to store employees, the woman started the whole argument and caused a substantial disturbance in the store for fellow customers. Store employees stated that the woman made several condescending references to the man’s male anatomy while multiple shoppers were present with their families. The woman has been charged with public disorderly conduct.

Four men have been apprehended by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in two separate armed robbery cases, according to a report.
The first alleged robbery was said to have occurred around 1:20 a.m. Monday. Officers received a call from the 3300 block of Central Avenue that someone was committing a robbery. However, officers did not reach the scene in time to apprehend the suspects. The victim was able to give the officers a sufficient description of the suspects and the vehicle.
Officers received a call a little less than an hour later from the 3500 block of Burner Drive, just off Central Avenue, in reference to another robbery. The victim there stated he was surrounded by a similar vehicle with similar suspects whom demanded his wallet and fled the scene leaving him unharmed.
After speaking with this victim, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle while conducting a traffic stop. Officers were able to briefly detain the suspects and the victim identified the four as the group which robbed him. All four were apprehended and taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities in the York County Sheriff’s Office are charging three men with burglary who officers say broke into the residence of an elderly gentleman. The incident occurred at the 1500 block of South Anderson Road in Rock Hill around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday night.
The elderly man said he was asleep when the burglars broke into his home and held him at gunpoint. The three men destroyed the inside of the elderly man’s home before taking his wallet with the petty amount of cash inside it.
Authorities spoke with the elderly man’s son who said this is the second time the elderly man has been robbed at his home in the past year. The man’s son said his father was also robbed in September as he was leaving his house.
