Man and Woman Found Selling Stolen Firearms

Authorities in Stanly County, NC arrested a man and a woman they say were selling firearms the two had stolen.

According to a police report, officers were tipped off that the two were selling stolen weapons when an anonymous caller stated he had been sold stolen weapons in western Stanly County.  The man and the woman were both arrested and were being held under a $10,000 bond.

Charlotte Police Arrest Armed Robbert Suspect

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has apprehended a suspect they say committed an armed robbery and then locked himself inside a Charlotte apartment complex.

Authorities received a call coming from a parking lot next to a beauty salon at J W Clay Blvd on Tuesday night.  A woman had called police and stated that a

 

man approached her with a gun and demanded money.  After succumbing to the man, the woman began to follow him to the Colonial Grand apartments on Grove Crest Lane.

Rock Hill Man Shot at Door Before Robbery

A Rock Hill man was taken by helicopter to a hospital Tuesday night after two men wearing all black clothing knocked on his door and then shot him, stealing cash in the process.

Authorities responded to a call from 970 Eastwood Drive near Willowbrook Avenue in reference to a gunshots being heard.  When officers arrived, they found the man severely injured with a gunshot wound to his chest.

A woman was in the apartment with the man at the time of the incident with her two children.  After the man was shot, he was able to gain his composure and flee the scene to Princeton Road, where he ran into someone who called authorities.  The two robbers stole $300 from the apartment all while the woman was in the apartment with her two children.  A K-9 unit also found $60 near the apartment.

The woman and the children were not hurt by the suspects.  The man was taken to the Carolina Medical Center and seemed to be responding to questions and answers from authorities questioning him about the incident in the hospital.

NC Man Charged With Armed Robbery of Bojangles

Police with the Cornelius, NC Police Department are charging a man with armed robbery after he pulled a gun on a local fast food restaurant, according to a police report.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Thursday at a Bojangles Restaurant on West Catawba Avenue.  The man entered the store and demanded cash from the register.  He was carrying a large black semi-automatic pistol when he demanded the cash, according to a witness statement.

Albemarle, NC Police Arrest Woman in Counterfeiting Case

An Albemarle, NC woman was arrested Wednesday for being in possession of items used to make counterfeit money, according to a police report.

The woman had 5 items in her possession that are typically used in counterfeiting currency.

The woman had her bond set at $4,000 and issued a February 11 court date.  Officers at the Albemarle Police Department have stated local business have been complaining about certain customers attempting to use counterfeit money for purchases.  The Abemarle Police Department had been working with the United States Secret Service in the counterfeiting case eventually uncovering the woman as the prime suspect in the case.  Any criminal charge can bring hardship to the person facing the accusations.

Lincoln Couple Arrested for Outstanding Warrants

A man and a woman were arrested in Lincoln County, NC on outstanding warrants and for larceny, according to a police report.

The two were traveling in a vehicle on Highway 18 in Lincoln County when officers pulled the vehicle over at 2 a.m. for speeding.  The man had two tires in his backseat and told officers he received the tires from a friend, but could not provide any additional information about the tires.  A background check on the two revealed they both had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
