A crash involving two motorcycles has left one of the two motorcyclists dead after over a week of hospitalization.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the 42-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday at Carolinas Medical Center after being there since the day of the crash on September 29.
On the day of the crash, the two motorcyclists were riding their motorcycles outbound on Rozzelles Ferry Road when one or both men lost control and crashed.
According to authorities the men were speeding and both were charged with driving while impaired.
Motorcycles certainly have a special appeal as an escape from the every day confines of the car; however, it’s no mystery that when it comes to traffic collisions, not much stands between a motorcyclist and the road.
